Bertolucci Watches

Remo Bertolucci is a Tuscan, brought up in Pisa, trained in electro-technical engineering.

When he was 14 he met his wife to be. Her father had bought a small watchmaking business in 1939 at Evilard near Biel.

Bertolucci acquired Swiss nationality after marriage and took over the family firm which now bears his name.

The richness of this watch making landscape, impregnated with the tradition of several centuries, would be the soil that would serve as nourishment for the creative imagination of Pisan Remo Bertolucci with his wife Pierrette, of the Bertolucci brand.

Together, they created the Bertolucci spirit – a vision of time-keeping that can be summed up by this statement by the current general manager of the enterprise, Marc Bernhardt: "No creation can truly claim perfection if it does not have within it a touch of surprise or mystery".
